First post in a while now, so this means I got a good few things to talk about this time. (yay)
Last time I blogged we were sticking our heads into lowsec. Blued a few gangs, red a few others. It was fun overall, but the thrills were far and few between. We either spent hours looking for someone we can kill, or spent our time moving around bigger gangs, running for our life basically (damn factional warfare). This went on for about a month. Wasn’t happy with it, I seem to have a short attention span.
My work in RL got busy so I have to spend more hours there, so less time in eve now, boo (yay money!). This more or less shut biel-tan down. We decide it would be best to merge with another corp rather than go our separate ways. Dawood talked to his old corp and they accept us into their ranks. The corp is in the process of moving to nullsec after a wormhole venture and a bad alliance experience in highsec.
Been in the alliance a few weeks and had a few roams. I have already had a few exciting moments in the great 0.0. There is alliance blues, friendly alliances, corps, and neutrals/reds. The alliance works a NBSI (not Blue - Shoot It), so “if you aren’t on the list you aren’t getting in” attitude. We try to enforce it but we aren’t the biggest fish in this pond. We can make our presence felt though at most I suppose.
“omg, we’re gonna kill him! OVERLOAD OVERLOAD OVERLOAD!!!! --------- Damn he docked.”
I don’t like the hugging the station strategy that I’ve seeing everywhere. It has saved my life a few times, but man is it annoying. Why would a station willing accept a ship into its bay which has incoming missiles into it?! Blegh.
So. Moving on from that, we are now back at highsec after getting our asses kicked in nullsec leading the alliance to collapse. I’ve no regrets about it or anything – I enjoyed the nullsec experience and the little lowsec stuff, but its nice to see traffic again which isn’t going to shoot you.
So, with the Christmas over the consumer horde has calmed down a bit so I am getting more time for eve again (yay). I recently met up with an old friend and went into a wormhole - Killed a few sleepers and left since no one was home.
The corp im with now has a few people who go roaming now and then, so i tag along. Just today i was in lowsec ratting while my CEO was cloaked in a falcon. What we hoped for was someone to appear to try and kill me, and then he will hopefully uncloak in time to save me with his ECM of doom.
The plan worked well, except the guy who attacked me had the same idea, uncloaking was another Falcon. Unfortunately the hostile falcon got the first lock putting our flacon out of action. Good job though – but strangely we both where able to run away. Yes, I ran away, I’m not losing my ship when i don’t have too. There was no e honour and stuff involved here. We had a “pfff” in local from them, I can understand that they were frustrated, but don’t complain I warp away if you don’t turn on your scrambler. Reversing the positions I’m sure they would do the same too,
So hopefully I will be able to log on and write more.in the furture. so keep posted
Thanks for reading. See you then.
